Service Description
A kitten's first grooming experiences can shape how they respond to grooming for the rest of their life. Our Kitten Intro Groom is designed to help young kittens become familiar with bathing, brushing, nail trims, handling, and grooming equipment while they are still developing confidence and new experiences. The goal isn't a perfect haircut. The goal is helping your kitten learn that grooming is a normal part of life. Kittens introduced to grooming early often become easier to maintain as adults, making future nail trims, baths, brushing, and grooming appointments significantly smoother for both cats and their owners. This introductory session includes: • Gentle bath with kitten-safe shampoo • Light drying process • Full brushing • Nail trim • Sanitary trim if needed • Ear and paw cleaning Everything is performed gradually and adjusted to your kitten's comfort level, creating a positive first experience with professional grooming. Perfect for: ✓ First-time grooming appointments ✓ New kitten owners ✓ Long-haired kittens that will require future grooming ✓ Owners who want to build positive grooming habits early IMPORTANT: This service is exclusively for kittens under 9 months of age and under 3 pounds. Cancellation Policy
🐾 Policies & Owner Agreement – Fur Season To ensure safety, comfort, and the best experience for your pet and our team, please review the following: 📅 Cancellations & Rescheduling Please give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours may be charged 50% of the service. No-shows will be charged 100% of the service and may require prepayment for future bookings. In case of emergencies, let us know as soon as possible—we may waive fees at our discretion. 🐕 Owner Responsibilities To keep your pet and everyone safe, please confirm: Vaccinations are up to date, including rabies. Any health conditions (like skin, heart, breathing issues) are disclosed. Any allergies, fears, biting, or behavioral issues are shared before the appointment. You're responsible for property damage caused by your pet. ❗If your pet has a history of aggression or fear, please let us know ahead of time so we can take proper steps. 🚫 Aggressive Behavior or Safety Risks If your cat becomes aggressive during grooming and causes injury to us or our assistant, we will stop the session immediately for everyone’s safety. The owner will be informed of what happened. No refund will be issued if a session is stopped due to aggression. If there are medical costs or damage, these may be covered from the service payment. ⚠️ Grooming Risks Grooming may uncover hidden conditions or cause minor nicks or scratches, especially with mats. Removing mats can cause irritation, redness, or hot spots. We’ll guide you on aftercare. We may need to trim the hair shorter than expected if there are tangles or mats. Our team always works with care, but services are performed at the owner’s risk. 📸 Photos & Marketing We may take photos of your pet before or after grooming to use on social media or for internal records. Let us know if you'd prefer we don’t share your pet’s photos online.
