We come to your home. No stressful car rides. No unfamiliar salon environment. Your cat stays in a familiar space while receiving one-on-one care at a pace that respects their comfort and tolerance. If your cat's coat has become severely matted, brushing is often no longer a safe or humane solution. Heavy mats can pull on the skin, limit movement, trap moisture, and cause ongoing discomfort. In many cases, cats simply learn to live with the pain, making the problem difficult for owners to recognize until the coat condition becomes severe. Our Severe Matted Fur Service focuses on safely removing dense matting and restoring your cat's comfort as quickly and gently as possible. Every cat is assessed individually, and grooming is adjusted based on coat condition, skin sensitivity, and stress level. When mats are too tight to be brushed out safely, clipping may be necessary to prevent unnecessary discomfort and protect the skin. This service is ideal for cats who: ✓ Have large areas of matting or compacted fur ✓ Cannot be brushed comfortably at home ✓ Have mats close to the skin ✓ Show signs of discomfort when touched or groomed ✓ Need professional coat restoration Your appointment may include: • Safe mat removal and coat restoration • Clipping of severely affected areas when necessary • Hypoallergenic bath (when appropriate) • Nail trim • Sanitary trim • Ear and paw cleaning Our goal is not to create a perfect hairstyle — it's to help your cat feel comfortable, clean, and pain-free again. Every appointment is performed one-on-one in a calm environment with your cat's safety and well-being as the highest priority. IMPORTANT: Cats with severe matting require this specialized service. If significant matting is discovered during a regular grooming appointment, the service will be upgraded accordingly. This service is available to go to your home in these areas: Downtown Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, Milton or Oakville.
Cancellation Policy
🐾 Policies & Owner Agreement – Fur Season To ensure safety, comfort, and the best experience for your pet and our team, please review the following: 📅 Cancellations & Rescheduling Please give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours may be charged 50% of the service. No-shows will be charged 100% of the service and may require prepayment for future bookings. In case of emergencies, let us know as soon as possible—we may waive fees at our discretion. 🐕 Owner Responsibilities To keep your pet and everyone safe, please confirm: Vaccinations are up to date, including rabies. Any health conditions (like skin, heart, breathing issues) are disclosed. Any allergies, fears, biting, or behavioral issues are shared before the appointment. You're responsible for property damage caused by your pet. ❗If your pet has a history of aggression or fear, please let us know ahead of time so we can take proper steps. 🚫 Aggressive Behavior or Safety Risks If your cat becomes aggressive during grooming and causes injury to us or our assistant, we will stop the session immediately for everyone’s safety. The owner will be informed of what happened. No refund will be issued if a session is stopped due to aggression. If there are medical costs or damage, these may be covered from the service payment. ⚠️ Grooming Risks Grooming may uncover hidden conditions or cause minor nicks or scratches, especially with mats. Removing mats can cause irritation, redness, or hot spots. We’ll guide you on aftercare. We may need to trim the hair shorter than expected if there are tangles or mats. Our team always works with care, but services are performed at the owner’s risk. 📸 Photos & Marketing We may take photos of your pet before or after grooming to use on social media or for internal records. Let us know if you'd prefer we don’t share your pet’s photos online.
